The Eleanor Slater Hospital System is located on two campuses, Cranston and Burrillville. It is the state’s only Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH), operated through the State of Rhode Island’s Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals (BHDDH). The hospital provides long-term acute and post-acute hospital level of care to patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs.

South County Hospital, a 100-bed acute care hospital, is at the core of the South County Hospital Healthcare System, a family of services offering inpatient, outpatient, and home healthcare. Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, which is Rhode Island’s only Catholic hospital, is a 359-bed acute care community medical center providing a spectrum of care, including critical care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, an endoscopy center, adult and geriatric psychiatry, and a range of specialty services. Fatima is home to the Southern New England Rehabilitation Center, a recognized leader in the delivery of acute rehabilitation care. Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island is a 294-bed teaching center affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Landmark Medical Center (LMC) is a non-profi t, full-service health care network serving northern Rhode Island and neighboring Massachusetts communities. The Woonsocket Unit, a 214-bed acute care hospital, provides emergency, diagnostic, medical, surgical, psychiatric, oncologic and obstetric care. As well, LMC operates a diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab and offers on-site radiation therapy services in partnership with 21st Century Oncology. The Fogarty Unit is the location of Landmark’s Spine Center and Occupational Health Department, and offers diagnostic services including MRI and digital mammography. The Fogarty site is also the location of the wholly-owned Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island (RHRI). ​Kent Hospital is a 359-bed, non-profit, acute care hospital serving approximately 300,000 residents of Kent County. Kent is the state’s second largest hospital.
