The Hospital Association of Rhode Island launched We Care. We Communicate. We Collaborate for Worker Safety Collaborative to align the culture of safety in each hospital to include worker safety along with patient safety and quality.
The focus areas of the collaborative include:
Our hospital leaders understand that hospitals can be dangerous work environments. Hospital environments are unique, and the daily work involves risks that are inherent in caring for the sick. Making workforce safety a priority helps to cultivate a safe work environment, which is proven to result in better patient care and a secure, more rewarding work experience.
