HARI PAC supports the efforts of the Hospital Association of Rhode Island to advocate on behalf of hospitals in Rhode Island by participating in the political process. As the voice of hospitals and healthcare systems across the state, we support policies that promote
- Quality health care for all Rhode Islanders
- Fair and reasonable reimbursement for hospital providers
- Growth and development of the healthcare workforce
- Relief from unnecessary regulatory burdens
- Informed and responsible government officials
HARI PAC improves the ability of HARI and its members to develop and maintain working relationships with legislators.
A strong HARI PAC assures you and other members of the hospital family a voice before public policy makers through effective advocacy.
Financially supporting HARI PAC is one way you can be sure that hospitals in Rhode Island have a meaningful voice in the outcome of these critical decisions.
Donations to PACs are limited to $1,000.00 per person, per calendar year. RI campaign finance laws prohibit donations from corporations.
HARI advocacy team determines which candidates to support, and for what amount.
Candidates for support include Governor of the State of Rhode Island, Speaker of the House, President of the Senate, House and Senate Leadership, Major Committee Chairs and members of the Assembly who support the HARI policy agenda.
