Chief Executive Officer, Eleanor Slater Hosital, HARI Board of Trustees

Eleanor Slater Hospital Chief Executive Officer, Brett Johnson, MBA, joined the RI Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals (BHDDH) in June 2022.

Mr. Johnson has extensive experience in hospital operations, management, and leadership. He served as CEO of Northwest Ohio Psychiatric Hospital for four and a half years, overseeing a $23 million operating budget and a staff of more than 200. While there, he ensured that all programs met or exceeded certification, licensure, and compliance standards.

Before working at Northwest Ohio Psychiatric Hospital, Mr. Johnson was the CEO at Vibra Hospital, in Springfield, IL and earlier in his career was CEO at Regency Hospital, in Sylvania, Ohio.
