HARI President, HARI Staff


Michael Sroczynski has served as President of the Hospital Association of Rhode Island since September 2025. Mike has been a leading advocate for the hospital community both in New England and nationally for more than two decades. 


As President of HARI, leads the association’s state and federal advocacy efforts, convenes healthcare leaders around timely issues, and advances the organization’s mission on behalf of its hospital and health system members. 


Mike was previously Executive Vice President at the Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association, where he led the strategic direction and management of the MHA’s government advocacy, legal and regulatory affairs, and policy development. He was an integral part of the healthcare system’s success through Massachusetts’ nation-leading adoption of universal health coverage, its response to COVID-19 and numerous other public health crises, and landmark policies centered around care coordination, payment structure, and workforce development. Prior to MHA, he served as legislative counsel in the Massachusetts State Senate.


Sroczynski currently serves on the boards of the Professional Liability Foundation and the Massachusetts Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. He is also a member of the New England Council’s healthcare committee and is a past chair of the American Hospital Association’s state association government relations officer group. He is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management and College of Law.
